User interface design or user interface engineering is the design of user interfaces for machines and software, such as computers, home appliances, mobile devices, and other electronics, with a focus on maximizing usability and the user experience.

LOCATION RECCE(Joella)
The purpose of this location Recce is to give information on where the opening scene is going to be filmed, what we are going to need, if it is again going to affect anything in terms of loudness or location
RISK ASSESSMENT(Joella)
The use of the risk assessment is to be able to identify to work out the risks of what we are doing with the opening scene and what could potentially happen if someone hurts themselves, this is a common thing in a place of work when putting on an event, or filming something you have to work out what could go wrong what is at risk.
SWOT ANALYSIS(Joella)
The best thing about doing a SWOT analysis is that you can clearly identify what you are good at and what you need to improve on. it really allows you to improve on things for next time which is so valuable./

XD RECORDING (Anette)
In the recording of my app prototype, as you can see the app has got a front page with a very clean design, the features are a button on the front page to be able to easily access and navigate through the app, as you can see when pressing this is moving you to the second page where you have the option to be able to but furniture.
MINDMAP AND MOODBOARD FOR APP(Anette)
For my app mind map, I wanted to outline and detail the main things that will constitute and make my app great, it has to have a good navigation system to entice the audience into staying on the app, and we want to make sure that the audience understands our purpose of doing the app and getting a message across trying to teach people and further their knowledge in this space, we also want to make it interactive by making a quiz every day and also a podcast which is free to listen to on all major podcast platforms like Spotify and apple podcasts.
For my app mood board, I want to create something that is appealing to the eye and looks really good to
the audience so that it drives people to want to stay on the app for an extended period.

RESEARCHING AN APP
This app is Starling Bank, it is an online banking app. As you can see by the user Interface it has an extremely clean layout with not much going on, on the screen, this is more than likely so that the users do not get confused by anything and it is straightforward and to the point, I would like to base my own app off some of the elements of this app because I like the way that it has the attitude of less is more and they are not worried about not keeping the user interacted.
APP SKETCH PLAN
For my website plan, I wanted to create something clean that looks good and keeps the users interacting in the app, I want to make sure that the navigation system is very easy to go through too.

This is what I have completed so far of my final app which is coming along well, I have done the gallery page, and the navigation system has been sorted out but now I need to add some more buttons on the front page to get to other places on the app quicker rather than going through each thing one by one.

OPENING SCENE ROUGH CUT FEEDBACK
Denis Gabriel:
The very short opening scene and the camera angles were good, however, I don't like how you presented the description of the opening scene, I would rather have the description appear within the scene instead of it appearing on a black background.
Annette Gossett:
The main criticism is that the main characters are out of focus in the close-ups - difficult to pick the music for - good to have some variety of camera angle
